Samskrita Bharati -PRAVESHA Classes
Sri Aurobindo Society, Bangalore Branch, Halasuru in association with Samskrita Bharati, Halasuru is organising a Samskrita Bharati -PRAVESHA Course at Halasuru. VENUE: Sri Aurobindo Society, No. 110, Gangadhara Chetty Road, see (Opp. Ulsoor Lake) Bangalore – 560 042 DATE : From Last (tentative) of October 2018. TIME : 4 pm to 5:30 pm hours Weekly. DURATION: 4 months only About the Samskrit Course The Pravesha course is structured into weekly sessions of 1.5 hours each, spread over 4 months, 1day/week. Not much background knowledge of Samskrit is necessary to attend it. At the end of the course, each participant will be able to speak and write simple sentences in Samskrit and gain confidence and motivation to pursue it further 3 (three) more levels Viz., Parichaya, Shiksha and Kovida – Courses after which you may attain familiarity to write advanced degree level courses later for most of the universities in India. VENUE: Sri Aurobindo Society, No. 110, Gangadhara Chetty Road, (Opp. Ulsoor Lake) Bangalore – 560 042 The Samskrita Sambhashana Shibiram is structured into ten sessions of 2 hours each, spread over 10 days. No background knowledge of Samskrit is necessary to attend it. At the end of the shibiram, each participant will be able to hold simple conversational sentences in Samskrit and gain confidence and motivation to pursue it further. Why should people learn Samskrit? - Samskrit has a very vast repository of spiritual and scientific literature. - Samskrit being an ancient and mother of most languages, any Samskrit literate would find it very easy to pick up other languages if needed later. - Children should in particular get exposed to this as well.
